Evolution Free Zone recognized as the “Rising Star” of 2023 by fDi Intelligence

fDi Intelligence, a publication by the Financial Times Group, gave Evolution Free Zone recognition as a Highly Commended Rising Star, and an Honourable Mention in ESG practices as part of their Global Free Zones of the Year 2023 awards.

Since the inauguration of the free zone in December 2022, CODE Development Group has been working to transform Evolution Free Zone into a next-generation technology park that will bring together leading companies dedicated to the manufacturing of medical devices and high value added products, knowledge-intensive services, and more.

Also, the park’s location in the Western Region acts as a catalyst for the development of cantons outisde the Great Metropolitan Area, such as Sarchí, Zarcero, Poás, Naranjo, Palmares, San Ramón, Atenas, and Grecia, where it is hoped to create 20,000 quality jobs in the next 15 years.

In addition to this recognition, fDi gave Evolution Free Zone an honorable mention for its ESG practices.

During 2022, we contributed close to $100,000 to the improvement of infrastructure at schools and assistance centers in our community, including the CEN-CINAI and Eduardo Pinto School in Tacares, Grecia
