June 2023. At Evolution Free Zone , we care about the environment, and strive to have a highly responsible waste management system. We are committed to managing all waste in a systematic manner in each of our projects as well as in our day-to-day activities.

This initiative must comply with all legal regulations, which is why we have implemented a very rigorous Waste Management Program for each project that is developed, thus allowing us to achieve our main objective, which is to ensure the assessment and collection of each waste item, using them effectively and responsibly to make a positive impact on every management process.

We do understand that waste management can be a complex process, so we have taken the time needed to do it properly. From the early stages of the construction process, we have classified different types of waste into categories, such as regular, recyclable, special handling, and hazardous, working together with waste handlers authorized by the Ministry of Health. We rely on their expertise and knowledge to ensure that each type of waste is treated in a proper and safe manner.

Costa Rica is recognized for its environmental efforts , so we advocate that those who operate in our country through our high-tech business park not only contribute to the benefit of the country, but also be part of the example we want to set for the world.

Once companies have started their operations in the Park, we execute agreements with said authorized waste managers. They regularly visit our facilities to efficiently collect and manage the waste. We partner with specialized experts for each type of waste, thus ensuring that they are treated in the best possible way. We work with committed and reliable waste managers, backed by the Ministry of Health . They have provided us with a list of authorized handlers, detailing how we can verify them, and obtain information about them.

As we develop our infrastructure, so will we grow in our capacity for waste management, complying with our sustainability strategy and aiming to embed circularity into our production processes.
