January 2024. The renowned multinational company Accudyn Products Inc. chose Costa Rica to establish its first plant in Central America.
The company will start operations in Evolution Free Zone, a free trade zone located in Tacares de Grecia, and will develop a 3,750 m2 (40,000 sq. ft.) plant in its first phase. This company is a world leader in precision plastic solutions, which will strengthen the position of Costa Rica in the medical device and electronics industry.

The opening will take place in 2025 with a multi-million-dollar investment. The plant will house state-of-the-art injection molding and support equipment, a fully equipped quality lab, tool and die support, office space, training and on-site order fulfillment areas, and will meet the company’s standards of excellence and sustainability. In addition, the strategic location of this new facility will optimize logistics, enabling efficient distribution to customers in North and South America.
The arrival of this multinational company will promote social progress and economic growth in the communities of San Ramón, Grecia, Atenas, Naranjo, Palmares, Poás, Zarcero and Sarchí.
